Children love the Alice the Camel song and I'm sure they would have loved acting out Hoosh the camel.

It just shows how a character extend learning and can move children into a world of imagination. Very inspiring!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17756291509110723512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8431350673151860703.post-9931571178799318772010-08-18T22:00:40.142-07:002010-08-18T22:00:40.142-07:00That's exactly it.

I was very touched that my book could help those children in some small way.

MarianneMarianne Musgrovehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08832825770407314826noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8431350673151860703.post-79414628359680768482010-08-17T01:35:08.049-07:002010-08-17T01:35:08.049-07:00So interesting, Janeen! And so many things that you never would have considered happening before you wrote the camel stories.
The most amazing thing that happened to me was writing about a small, ornithopod dinosaur in north-west Queensland whose fossils had never been found (which my protagonist unearths, of course) and then when I'd finished my story, 'Secrets of Eromanga', someone found a part of this particular dinosaur's spine. It was almost magical. :)Sheryl Gwytherhttp://sherylgwyther.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8431350673151860703.post-33853376023266850722010-08-16T16:11:59.103-07:002010-08-16T16:11:59.103-07:00That's a fabulous afterwards story, Dee!
